We have been asked to help Sam Rowland and the Suffolk Skills Team with a Scout event. We have been asked to assist the Suffolk Skills Team run bases (working alongside them). The event will be held on Sunday 14th October 2018. Please be at Hallowtree for 9am until 4.45. Uniform is required. Sam will provide tea and coffee, a light lunch is also provided as well. If you are able to help please let Fiona Dyes know as soon as possible. I know some of you will be at re-dedication service that same day.

This year’s swimming gala is on Saturday 13th October 5.45 pm at Crown Pools Ipswich. It’s the biggest event that the SAS organise and run for the whole District. We have jobs for everyone! If you could let Tim know if you’re able to help then that would be much appreciated.

Further to my last message, I have found that the Willford Bridge, Deben Inns, at Melton offer a two course meal for Twelve Pounds. I cannot let you know what the menu is until Monday 16th as they are having a change of menu planned, as they would like to know how many would be interested I am asking you if you are likely to come for a meal as well as the visit to the Museum. If no interest in the meal they do offer sandwiches etc - Mike
